Y'know. I really dislike people who go round criticising others on subjects where they themselves can't even do just decently. Not that anybody criticised anybody. But there was a certain somebody who was criticising an orchestra. NOT the SNYO though. Cos if that person did come up to me and start criticising snyo... Heh. I'll probably shove an audition form in his/her face and tell him/her to get his/her butt down there and go audition if he/she wants vivaldi to be played more romantically and mozart to be played more modern and beethoven to be more baroque-ish. Oh, and what'd Tchaikovsky turn into?! Because really, that'd be insane.
Okay, okay. I probably sound a bit egoistic here... But anyhow. If you can't do it better, don't criticise. Keep your thoughts to yourself.
Anyhow, so this X person was criticising this orchestra. X didn't like the way they played mozart. Hell. My level ain't that good and I'm not even gonna start criticising them. They are professional, for goodness sake. I mean. Can you even play mozart without it sounding like... (let's put it bluntly, dear) a load of crap? I don't think anybody needs to ask what's the answer.
These people really put me off. Okay, so maybe dislike is an understatement. Mm. Because they think they're so smart, they act so smart, they talk so smart, they don't know everybody's just disgusted and amused (somewhat, to a certain extent) at their childishness.
Some know their place, they just keep whatever comments they have to themselves, and one day when they are adults and they're professionals, only then that they criticise. Because they've actually gone through it all. But people who just start shooting their mouth off...
Enough. This makes me feel sick. I feel like vomiting out my lunch. Gah.
